K-16 education systems are experiencing unprecedented change and an ever-changing landscape. There is no standard roadmap to achieve equity or inclusion. Each one is unique among themselves. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are critical components of educational communities, equipping its members with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate an increasingly diverse world.
To improve organizational climate and outcomes, many organizations and systems focus on creating strategic plans and inclusive programs as key drivers for change. Unfortunately, these traditional approaches are inadequate in dismantling oppressive systems like racism and other forms of discrimination.
Our educational partnerships support leaders in developing a deeper understanding of misrepresentation, alienation, and tokenism. They also elevate others’ capacities to assess cultural practices that may contradict espoused goals and mission statements. Join us to co-create a learning environment that commits to embedding DEI into all areas of education, promoting a student-centered framework, re-imagining faculty and staff competencies, and developing innovative ways to identify critical needs, supports, and benchmarking.
